Something Wiiked this Way Comes (an update)

Last week, I posted a blog about the forthcoming Wii and now there's new credible speculation as to what will be accompanying Nintendo's big announcement. As I gave credence to before, Gizmodo is reporting the Nintendo is coming out with a controller that has a built in touch screen. What this touch screen will do is still up for debate.
CNN reports that the other two-thirds of the gaming industry are hinting at Microsoft and Sony not releasing a system until 2014. I personally think this is great news as it will give my Xbox 360 a great shelf-life and allow me to bet at least 90% of my games before the next system comes out. It's also allowing game developers to make every bit of use the systems have to their advantage. This also will put the Nintendo Wii ahead of the pack as Nintendo will definitely be releasing their system before 2014.
