I Really Want to like Mf Doom, Again

And it's not that I completely hate him, but after I experience this in 2008 I had my reservations and found it hard to get into his 2009 album, Born Like This.

A lot of people think that it was part of some master plan, but three years later there's still no evidence to suggest that theory.
Operation Doomsday: Lunchbox
On the other hand, Stones throw has released a lunch box with a two CD set containing Doom's debut album, Operation: Doomsday and B-sides to the album. Coming soon is a 4-LP record set- released by MF's own MetalFace Record Label- for Operation: Doomsday. Both of which look really cool, but does it make up for his "Doomposters" being sent out to his shows three years ago? Not really.
Maybe his master plan was to disappear altogether. Three years ago, he seemed to be gaining more recognition, especially with all his projects with Adult swim. That mask kept his identity hidden from most of his fans and it's very possible that he took advantage of his near unknown identity and chose to leave the limelight for good.
