China says You Can't Time Travel

Ever since I was a young lad, Back to the Future has stood the test of time and newer movies. To this day, I'll sit and watch a few minutes of it on TV when it airs. The Chinese can't indulge in that anymore or any other movies that involve mystic themes for that matter. But why? The Chinese states that "TV dramas shouldn't have characters that travel back in time and rewrite history. They say this goes against Chinese heritage" (CNN.COM)

I guess the Chinese government fears that their citizens will dream of going back in time and rewriting a Chinese history without communism and phones that shut off when the word "protest" is uttered. What kind of respectable heritage could allow that?
It really does suck, because who in the hell going to make my Mattel Hover Board or auto-lace Nikes? Mattel or Nike don't have factories in America to do it, so who will step up to the plate and revive my childhood dreams?
