Note: I said might. Word is coming through that he is set to direct the new Addams Family movie and like Alice in Wonderland it will be in 3D. I will start off by pointing out that I am largely opposed to anything that Tim Burton directs these days because most- if not all- of it is drivel. I didn't see 9 and I saw Alice in Wonderland and I didn't like it, but I am usually less critical about movies that is meant for kids and Hot Topic consumers. I am pretty sure I will not like the Addams Family too, but he is trying a somewhat original approach here. Tim Burton is basing the new feature off the Addams Family drawings and the film is completely unrelated to the TV series and the movies that came out in the 90s. So, since there is really no script, Tim Burton might actually have to use his noggin this time around and maybe produce something worthwhile. Maybe he'll use somebody other than Johnny Depp. I doubt that though, because I will be honest, Johnny Depp is guaranteed to sell a movie whether it is shit or not. However, if the movie looks somewhat like this drawing and is able to utilize the 3D technology to the fullest I may be somewhat interested in seeing it*.
*I probably won't.
