As many of you know, Brian Stow remains in a medically induced coma after an encounter with two Dodger fans after a game earlier this month. The LAPD has been promising tighter security at Dodger Stadium for some time and many patrons can expect "zero-tolerance" crackdowns to take effect immediately.
The Times reports Dodger Fans can expect "uniformed officers posted throughout the ballpark. Officials said the officers will be more aggressive about expelling or arresting people who cause trouble". Before the incident, Dodger Stadium was looking to lower drinks to half-price during mid-week games; naturally, the idea has been scrapped.
booooo! that sux 2 people had to go & ruin it for every1 else. i would have enjoyed the 1/2 priced drinks. on another note they should have had more security ages ago. have u ever walked thru that parking lot @ night? i never see 1 cop, just a bunch of parking ppl standing around talking to each other. & for that 1st game they wer encouraging people to come in & drink. the game started @ 5 but they wanted every1 to come in at 1. when its 95 degrees out ther really is only 1 thing u can do wen ur sitting out in the sun & thats drink. nuff said.
